If left unchecked, the potential of dyslexic children will be hampered because reading is a basic human ability. Therefore, in this study, researchers designed a learning media design that makes it easier for dyslexic children to recognize hijaiyah letters. The research method used is R&D using the ADDIE development model. The study that the researchers conducted was limited to the development of design, so the purpose of this study was to provide an overview of the design of multisensory mirror book media. The design is developed with a printed book-based that will maximize the function of the senses of sight and touch. Dyslexic children will be invited to learn while playing by reflecting hijaiyah letters on concrete objects found in everyday life. In their learning, they were also invited to play by attaching glitter to hijaiyah stickers and then touching them. His motor function was tested by rewriting hijaiyah letters and then checking the correctness of the writing using a mirror. In the future, the design developed by researchers can continue to be refined to help dyslexic children learn hijaiyah letters to make it easier and more fun.2023-12-29T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2023 Rosendah Dwi Maulayahttps://ejournal.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/abjadia/article/view/23480Analyzing the Word Formation of Slang Vocabulary Employed by Fathia Izzati on YouTube2023-12-29T09:35:45+07:00Nurul Fadhillahnurulfadhillah139@gmail.comAri Nurweniarinurweni@gmail.comSlang is a form of language, expressions, or specialized language usage commonly found in informal conversations, particularly within specific groups. Fathia Izzati, known as "kittendust," is a YouTube content creator with 695,000 subscribers. In her YouTube account, Fathia uploads videos related to English language learning terms in daily life, often incorporating slang words. This research aims to comprehend the meanings and processes of word formation in slang used by Fathia Izzati in her videos. The research methodology is descriptive qualitative, referencing George Yule's (2010) theories on slang word formation processes. Data were obtained from 15 videos uploaded by Fathia Izzati between November 2021 and December 2022. The findings reveal that out of Yule's ten slang and word formation theories, only five are reflected in the analyzed videos. Blending emerges as the most common method for creating new words, constituting 39.24% of all new terms. Other prevalent methods include doubling (34.18%) and halving (18.99%). Clipping accounts for 5.06%, while acronyms are the least common, comprising only 2.53%. This research provides insights into the use of slang by Fathia Izzati within the context of English language learning on YouTube.2023-12-19T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2023 Nurul Fadhillah, Patuan Raja, Ari Nurwenihttps://ejournal.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/abjadia/article/view/23664Lectora Inspire Features and Their Impact on Enhancing Grammar Comprehension at Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris Islamic State University, Samarinda2023-12-29T09:35:45+07:00Devi Rafika Saridevirafika879@gmail.comRiski Janu Saputrariskiunaj98@gmail.comR. Taufiqurrochmantaufiq@uin-malang.ac.idDanial Hilmihilmi@pba.uin-malang.ac.idThe study emphasizes the significance of Nahwu knowledge in enhancing Arabic language skills during the educational process, particularly at the Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris State Islamic University in Samarinda. Notably, Nahwu teachers encounter challenges related to time efficiency in teaching and limited learning resources for students. Concurrently, technological advancements offer solutions to these issues, promising improved time management and enhanced access to learning materials. In response, this research focuses on enriching Lectora Inspire's capabilities for Nahwu practice. The research adopts the Research and Development (R&D) approach, employing the ADDIE model. Data collection involves observation, interviews, questionnaires, and testing, with participants from the Arabic Language Teaching Department. The outcomes encompass the development of the Lectora Inspire method using the ADDIE model, including analysis, design, development, application, and evaluation stages. Validation results indicate the product's excellence, with high ratings from design and content experts, grammar teachers, and students. Furthermore, the effectiveness of utilizing Lectora Inspire for grammar exercises is demonstrated through t-test results, signifying a statistically significant improvement (Sig value of 0.017 < 0.05). This research contributes valuable insights into optimizing technology for Nahwu education, addressing challenges faced by teachers and students alike.2023-12-18T08:39:53+07:00Copyright (c) 2023 Devi Rafika Sari, Riski Janu Saputra, R.
