ANALISIS PERKEMBANGAN SOSIAL EMOSIONAL ANAK USIA DINI PADA PERMAINAN TRADISIONAL

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia dini melalui permainan tradisional. Indikator inti pembelajaran sosial emosional dari Collaborative for Academic Social and Emotional Learning (CASEL) digunakan untuk menganalisis perkembangan sosial emosional, yaitu pengenalan diri (self-awareness), manajemen diri (self-management), pengenalan sosial (self-awareness), keterampilan membangun hubungan (relationship skill) dan pengambilan keputusan yang bertanggungjawab (responsible decition-making). Pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus (case study) tunggal instrumental dipilih peneliti untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian. Penelitian dilakukan dalam setting alamiah di KB/RA Syihabuddin Malang. Penggalian data dilakukan tanpa memberikan intervensi menggunakan tiga metode utama, yaitu observasi mendalam, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelima indikator inti peembelajaran sosial emosional terlihat dalam aktivitas kelima permainan tradisional yang diterapkan di lokasi penelitian, yaitu permainan meong-meongan, dolip, cina buta, ular naga dan balap karung. Pemberian supervisi dan pembangunan komitmen sebelum permainan merupakan kata kunci munculnya perilaku yang mencerminkan aspek pembelajaran sosial emosional pada anak usia dini.
