The manuscript submitted to Es-Syajar: Journal of Islam, Science, and Technology Integration will be read by an editorial member to meet the Es-Syajar: Journal of Islam, Science, and Technology Integration Criteria. First, they will verify whether the manuscript's topic is within the journal's scope. Then they will check the plagiarism using Turnitin. If a manuscript has over 20% similarity, we will return the article to the author for revision to address the plagiarized content. The peer-review process begins after the manuscript is proven to be original and has never been published before. Es-Syajar: Journal of Islam, Science, and Technology Integration's review process utilizes a double-blind review system. The manuscript will be sent to at least two reviewers. Sometimes (if required) a third peer-reviewer is also needed for further recommendation. Reviewers' comments are then sent to the corresponding author for necessary actions and responses. Finally, the Editor shall inform the author of the results of the review as soon as possible. The final decision of manuscript acceptance is made by the Editor in Chief or the Regional (Handling) Editor (together with the Editorial Board if required) according to reviewers' critical comments. Es-Syajar: Journal of Islam, Science, and Technology Integration has four types of decisions:
- Accepted, as it is
- Accepted by Revisions
- Resubmit for Review
- Rejected/Declined
Publication of accepted articles, including assigning the article to the published issues, will be made by the Editor in Chief by considering the sequence of accepted date and geographical distribution of authors, as well as a thematic issue. All articles published Open Access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download.
