Maliki Islamic Economics Journal (M-IEC Journal) is an international peer-reviewed journal specializing in Behavioral Islamic Economics, examining economic behavior and decision-making through Islamic perspectives. The journal connects Islamic economic thought with contemporary perspectives from behavioral economics, psychology, sociology, and related behavioral sciences. The journal primarily publishes original empirical research based on primary data and welcomes rigorous Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs) that advance the field of Behavioral Islamic Economics. Published by the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Indonesia, the journal is currently accredited Sinta 2 based on the Decree of the Director General of Science and Technology Number 355/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026 dated July 24, 2026
