After any kind of treatment, keeping the skin moisturized will protect the feet from developing corns once again. Applying lotion at night before going to sleep will moisturize the skin of the feet. Soaking the feet in warm salt water once a week will also help relax the tensed muscles of the feet minimizing the strain that it feels.
