- EL DINAR: Jurnal Keuangan dan Perbankan Syariah was first published in Vol. 1 No. 1 (2013) with ISSN Print 2339-2797 based on SK No. 0005.0039/JI.3.2/SK.ISSN/2013.
- Starting from Vol. 6 No. 1 (2018), this journal officially obtained an online ISSN 2622-0083 as per SK No. 0005.26220083/JI.3.1./SK.ISSN/2018.07 (July 11, 2018).
- In Vol. 5 No. 1 (2017), changes were made to the cover design, writing style, author guidelines, and manuscript template.
- The journal was accredited SINTA 3 for the editions Vol. 6 No. 1 (2018) – Vol. 9 No. 1 (2021), and later upgraded to SINTA 2 starting from Vol. 9 No. 2 (2021) – Vol. 14 No. 1 (2026).
