EL DINAR: Jurnal Keuangan dan Perbankan Syariah is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Faculty of Economics, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The journal is dedicated to continuously elevating its editorial governance and publication quality to foster a strong national reputation and broad indexing visibility.

Journal History & Milestones

• 2013 (Inception & First Issue):

  EL DINAR was first published in print format (Vol. 1 No. 1, 2013) with P-ISSN 2339-2797 under Decree No. 0005.0039/JI.3.2/SK.ISSN/2013.

• 2017 (Standardization & Format Enhancement):

  In Vol. 5 No. 1 (2017), the journal underwent a comprehensive update, including revisions to the cover design, author guidelines, and manuscript template.

• 2018 (Full OJS Digitalization & SINTA 3 Accreditation):

  Starting from Vol. 6 No. 1 (2018), EL DINAR fully transitioned to an online management system (Full OJS) and officially secured its online ISSN (E-ISSN 2622-0083) under Decree No. 0005.26220083/JI.3.1./SK.ISSN/2018.07. During this phase, the journal achieved SINTA 3 accreditation (Vol. 6 No. 1, 2018 – Vol. 9 No. 1, 2021) from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education Indonesia.

• 2021 – 2026 (Upgrade to SINTA 2 & Indexing Expansion):

  The journal's standing was further elevated upon achieving SINTA 2 accreditation, effective from Vol. 9 No. 2 (2021) through Vol. 14 No. 1 (2026). EL DINAR is also indexed in national databases such as Garuda and Google Scholar.

• 2026 (Template & Publication Standards Refinement):

  Starting from Vol. 14 No. 1 (2026), the manuscript template was further refined to incorporate article history details (received, revised, accepted) and Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) classification codes, reinforcing editorial transparency and aligning metadata with international standards.
