Author Guidelines

AR-ROSIKHUN WRITING GUIDE

General

1. Scientific work must be original, never published in other media, or in the process of being reviewed for publication in another publication. Similiarity check maximum 20%
2. Use Indonesian or English and must be submitted online via http://ejournal.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/jmpi/index. Authors must register or log in first to submit articles.
3. Use A4 paper (21cm x 29.7 cm) with a left margin of 2.5 cm, top, right and bottom margins of 2 cm.
4. The minimum number of papers is 7 pages, maximum 16 pages unless there are attachments, maximum tolerance is 20 pages with 1 space and alignment justify.
5. The font used is Calibri 12 pt and Sakkal Majalla (if there is Arabic content) 14 pt.
6. The references used are a minimum of 15 references, 80% of which come from journal articles published in the last 15 years.
7. File format uses Microsoft Office/Open Office with doc. or docx. not PDFs.

Manuscript Content

1. Title maximum 15 words, center alignment in Bold.
2. The author's name does not use a title, includes institutional affiliation and email.
3. Abstract minimum 200 words and maximum 300 words, one paragraph, no tables or figures.
4. Keywords must be a minimum of 3 words and a maximum of 5 words, separated by a semicolon (;).
5. Writing systematics: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions and References.
6. List of Citations and References using APA 6th Style Edition format. It is recommended to use reference applications such as Zotero, Mandeley, Endnote, and the like.
7. Before sending the manuscript, it is recommended to check typographical and grammatical errors as well as check similiarity, via:

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
