INTERSEKSIONALITAS DAN BENTUK KETERTINDASAN JENG YAH, TOKOH UTAMA SERIES GADIS KRETEK

Abstract
This article aims to analyze the form of intersectionality and oppression of female characters in the series "Gadis Kretek". The character analyzed in this study is the main character, Jeng Yah. This research is studied with the theory of intersectionality from the perspective of Kimberle Crenshaw and the theory of oppression initiated by Iris Marion Young. This research is a descriptive qualitative research which the data is collected using documentation techniques and then interpreted. The results of this study show that the figure of Jeng Yah is a picture of a very strong woman. Jeng Yah who lives in a time and society that perpetuates patriarchal culture experiences forms of intersectionality from structural, political, to representation. The forms of oppression are exploitation, marginalization, violence, and powerlessness.

Abstrak
Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk interseksionalitas dan ketertindasan tokoh Perempuan dalam series “Gadis Kretek”. Tokoh yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini ialah tokoh utamanya yaitu Jeng Yah. Penelitian ini dikaji dengan teori interseksionalitas perspektif Kimberle Crenshaw dan teori opresi yang digagas Iris Marion Young. Penelitian ini berupa penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang datanya dikumpulkan dengan Teknik dokumentasi kemudian diinterpretasikan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sosok Jeng Yah merupakan gambaran perempuan yang sangat tegar. Jeng Yah yang hidup di masa dan masyarakat yang melariskan budaya patriarki mengalami bentuk-bentuk interseksionalitas dari struktural, politik, hingga representasi. Adapun bentuk ketertindasannya berupa eksploitasi, marginalisasi, kekerasan, dan ketidakberdayaan.
