AUTHOR GUIDELINES

1. ARTICLE TYPES

The journal accepts original research articles, review articles, and case reports. Manuscripts must be written in English, must not be under consideration elsewhere, and must follow the limits below.

2. MANUSCRIPT STRUCTURE

2.1 Original Research Article

• Abstract: Structured, with Background, Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion, followed by five keywords.
• Introduction: Gap analysis and literature review. The aim of the study must be stated at the end.
• Methods: Written in paragraph form, covering study design, time, population/sample/subjects, variables, data collection techniques, and data analysis techniques. Studies using laboratory equipment must provide equipment specifications. Experimental studies must state the main materials with clear specifications. Studies requiring ethical approval must provide evidence of approval by an ethics committee.
• Results: Analysis of the findings, not merely a reading of tables or graphs, with tables and figures related to the study aim.
• Discussion
• Conclusion
• Acknowledgments
• References

2.2 Review Article

• Abstract: Structured, with Background, Objective, Methods (literature search), Results (key findings), and Conclusion, followed by five keywords.
• Introduction: Importance of the topic, gap in current knowledge, and aim of the review.
• Literature Search Methods: Databases searched, keywords, publication period (normally the previous five years), inclusion and exclusion criteria, and the selection process.
• Review of the Literature: Findings synthesized by theme and critically compared, not listed study by study.
• Discussion
• Conclusion

2.3 Case Report

• Abstract: Background, Case Presentation, and Conclusion, followed by five keywords.
• Introduction: The condition, why the case is unusual or clinically important, and the aim of the report.
• Case Presentation: Chronological description covering patient information, clinical findings, diagnostic assessment, therapeutic intervention, follow-up, and outcomes, following CARE guidelines. Patient identity must be anonymized.

3. TITLE PAGE

• Title: No more than 20 words, representing the content of the article and written in Times New Roman, 16 pt.
• Authors: Full names with affiliations and addresses. One corresponding author must be designated with an email address.

4. FORMATTING

Tables and figures must carry clear titles and descriptions. The results text must explain their significance rather than merely repeat their contents.

5. CITATIONS AND REFERENCES

Citations and the reference list must follow the numbered Vancouver style and be managed using EndNote or Mendeley. In the text, citations must appear as superscript numbers placed after punctuation marks. In the reference list, references must be numbered consecutively using regular numbers.

6. ETHICS

• Studies requiring ethical approval must state that approval was obtained and include evidence from the ethics committee.
• Case reports must state that written informed consent for publication was obtained and must anonymize the patient.
• The Acknowledgments section may name the institutions or individuals who contributed to the work or funded it.

7. SUBMISSION CHECKLIST

Authors should confirm the following before submitting their manuscripts:

• ☐ Article type and word limit respected (excluding abstract and references).
• ☐ No more than the permitted number of tables and illustrations.
• ☐ Structured abstract and five keywords included.
• ☐ Title of no more than 20 words and a running title of 6–8 words.
• ☐ Headings, fonts, and spacing follow Section 4.
• ☐ References in Vancouver style, managed with EndNote or Mendeley.
• ☐ Ethical approval or patient consent stated where applicable.
• ☐ Corresponding author name and email provided.
