Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.
Author Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts that have not been previously published or are under consideration by another journal. Manuscripts should be prepared according to the journal format and template available here.
JIM accepts the following article types:
- Original Research Articles
- Review Articles
- Case Reports
Manuscripts may be submitted in Bahasa Indonesia or English. Authors should ensure that the manuscript is written in clear and grammatically correct academic language. Manuscripts must follow the IMRAD structure (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion) and be formatted according to the JIM Manuscript Template.
References should follow the Vancouver citation style, and authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley or Zotero. Authors are expected to cite relevant and high-quality literature, with at least 80% of references published within the last 10 years.
Research involving human participants or experimental animals must obtain approval from an appropriate ethics committee. Authors are also required to disclose any conflicts of interest and comply with the journal's publication ethics based on the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) principles.
Manuscripts must be submitted through the Online Journal System. Authors should upload the manuscript file, complete all required submission metadata, and provide a cover letter in the designated field. Supplementary files should be uploaded only when applicable or required to support the manuscript.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The manuscript is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration by another journal.
- The manuscript has been prepared using the JIM Manuscript Template and complies with the Author Guidelines.
- For research involving human participants or experimental animals, ethical approval has been obtained, and the approval information is included in the manuscript, where applicable.
- All authors have approved the submitted manuscript and declared any conflicts of interest and funding sources, where applicable.
- The author has completed all required submission metadata in the Online Journal System.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0) that allows others to share the work with acknowledgment of its authorship and initial publication in this journal. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to use any third-party copyrighted material included in their manuscript.

This journal charges the following author fees.
Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR)
Authors are required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.
Article Publication: 400000.00 (IDR)
If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs.
If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.
