Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines J-PIPS

General

Scientific works must be original, have never been published in other media, or are in the process of being reviewed for publication in other publications. The similarity check maximum of 20%. Use Indonesian or English and must be submitted online via http://ejournal.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/jpips/index. The author must register or log in first to enter the article.
Using A4 paper (21cm x 29.7 cm) with left, top, right, and bottom margins of 3 cm. The minimum paper number is 6 pages and the maximum is 20 pages with 1 space and alignment justify. The font used is Antiqua Book 12 pt and Sakkal Majalla (If there is Arabic content) 14 pt. References used are at least 20 references, of which 80% are sourced from journal articles published in the last 10 years.
File format using Mic. Office / Open Office with the existence of RTF instead of PDF.


Script Content

The title is a maximum of 15 words, font times Times New Roman Alignment Center with Bold.
The author's name does not use a title, include institutional affiliation and email.
Abstracts maximum of 200 words, one paragraph, notables, and figures.
Keywords of at least 3 words and a maximum of 5 words, separated by semicolons (;).
Systematics of writing: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, and References.
List of Quotations and References using the APA 6th Style Edition format. It is recommended to use reference applications such as Zotero, Mendeley, Endnotes, and the like.
Before sending the manuscript, it is recommended to do typographical checks and grammatical errors as well as similarity checks, through:

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
