Potensi Kawasan Segara Anakan Sebagai Sarana Fieldwork Pada Pembelajaran Geografi Materi Lingkungan Estuari

Abstract


Pembelajaran fieldwork merupakan salah satu bentuk pelaksanaan pembelajaran geografi secara nyata untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam memahami fenomena geosfer. Berbagai manfaat pembelajaran fieldwork memerlukan perangkat yang tepat dalam penerapannya. Kawasan Segara Anakan dengan segala penampakan dan sumber dayanya mempunyai potensi untuk dijadikan sebagai sarana pembelajaran fieldwork yang penting pada materi lingkungan estuari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali potensi dan strategi Kawasan Segara Anakan sebagai sarana pembelajaran fieldwork geografi pada materi lingkungan estuari. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer hasil observasi lapangan dan data sekunder dari literatur ilmiah. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan potensi dan strategi Kawasan Segara Anakan sebagai sarana pembelajaran fieldwork di lingkungan estuari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kawasan Segara Anakan mempunyai objek yang dapat dijadikan objek kajian sesuai kompetensi dan indikator materi lingkungan estuari. Starategi fieldwork ini dilakukan dengan menentukan objek kajian, aksesibilitas, instrumen, perlengkapan, dan bahan yang akan digunakan selama kegiatan lapangan.  Selama kegiatan, siswa melakukan pengamatan dan pengumpulan data dan mendengarkan penjelasan dari guru terhadap objek kajian.  Pelaksanaan kerja lapangan di kawasan Segara Anakan mempunyai tantangan seperti waktu, biaya, izin, dan ancaman pada saat melaksanakan fieldwork.
