Journal of Research on Community Engagement publishes scholarly articles focusing on community engagement and related areas. The journal welcomes:
Critical analyses of community engagement practices and their social impact
Studies on government policies and their implications for communities

Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to JRCE (Journal of Research on Community Engagement) are reviewed through a single-blind peer review process. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two reviewers based on its originality, relevance, and contribution to the field.
The editorial team makes the final decision to accept, revise, or reject the manuscript based on reviewers’ recommendations.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
All articles published in this journal are immediately and permanently free to read and download. We continuously work with our author community to ensure the best licensing options. Currently, this journal uses the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

Plagiarism Policy
JRCE (Journal of Research on Community Engagement) strictly prohibits all forms of plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts must be original and have not been published or submitted elsewhere.
Before the peer review process, each submission is checked for similarity using Turnitin. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 30% will be returned to the author for revision or may be rejected.
JRCE (Journal of Research on Community Engagement) reserves the right to reject any manuscript that violates this policy and to take appropriate action in accordance with publication ethics.
