Journal History

SAINTIS was first established as a journal under the title SAINTIS: Sains dan Integrasi Islam. In its early publication period, the journal served as a scholarly platform for studies related to science and Islamic integration.

After a period of inactivity, SAINTIS was revitalized with a renewed editorial direction. The journal is now repositioned as SAINTIS: Science, Integration, and Islamic Systems, a mathematics journal focusing on mathematical modelling, analysis, and computation for Islamic systems.

The current scope emphasizes mathematical methods applied to Islamic systems, institutions, data, and applications. This includes, but is not limited to, zakat and waqf systems, Islamic finance, halal systems, Hajj and Umrah systems, Islamic astronomy, Islamic education, Islamic digital platforms, Muslim community services, and Islamic textual data.

This renewed direction reflects the journal’s commitment to publishing mathematically rigorous research with clear and substantive relevance to Islamic systems.
