Author Guidelines

3.1 Author Guidelines

Saintis: Journal of Mathematical Data Science publishes original research articles, review papers, and methodological studies that align with the journal’s aims and scope. Authors are required to follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth review and publication process.

Manuscript Preparation

  • The journal officially uses LaTeX for manuscript preparation and publication. An official LaTeX template is provided and must be used for accepted articles.
  • At the initial submission stage, authors may submit their manuscripts in PDF or Microsoft Word format for peer review purposes.
  • Upon acceptance, authors are required to prepare and submit the final version of the manuscript using the journal’s LaTeX template.
  • Manuscripts that are accepted but not converted into LaTeX format will not proceed to publication.

Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts prepared using the LaTeX template should include, at minimum, the following components:

  • Title, author names, affiliations, and corresponding author information
  • Abstract and keywords
  • Introduction
  • Methods or Theoretical Framework
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgments (if any)
  • Author Contributions (CRediT)
  • Conflict of Interest Statement
  • References

Formatting and References

  • All formatting (margins, fonts, headings, equations, tables, and figures) must strictly follow the provided LaTeX template.
  • Mathematical notation should be clearly defined and consistently used.
  • References must be prepared using BibTeX and formatted according to the journal’s reference style as specified in the template.
  • Wherever possible, references should include DOIs or permanent identifiers.

Supplementary Files

  • Authors are encouraged to submit supplementary materials that enhance the transparency and reproducibility of their work.
  • Acceptable supplementary files include datasets, source code, simulation files, appendices, and additional figures or tables.
  • Supplementary materials should be clearly labeled and referenced in the main text.

Submission Checklist

  • The manuscript fits the aims and scope of the journal.
  • The submission file is in PDF or Word format (initial submission).
  • All authorship and ethical statements are complete.
  • Figures and tables are readable and properly cited.

By submitting a manuscript to this journal, authors agree to comply with these guidelines and the editorial policies of Saintis: Journal of Mathematical Data Science.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscript is an original work, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration for publication in any other journal.

  2. The manuscript fits the aims and scope of Saintis: Journal of Mathematical Data Science and contains a clear mathematical or theoretical contribution.

  3. For initial submission, the manuscript file is provided in PDF or Microsoft Word format and is suitable for peer review.

  4. The authors acknowledge that, if the manuscript is accepted for publication, the final version must be prepared and submitted using the official LaTeX template of the journal.

  5. The manuscript has been prepared for double-blind peer review, and all author-identifying information has been removed from the main file.

  6. All references are relevant, properly cited, and include DOIs or permanent identifiers where available.

  7. All figures, tables, and mathematical expressions are clearly presented, properly numbered, and referenced in the text.

  8. The manuscript includes all required declarations, including author contributions (CRediT), conflict of interest statement, and funding information (if applicable).

  9. Any supplementary materials (e.g., datasets, source code, appendices) are clearly labeled and appropriately referenced in the manuscript.

  10. The authors have read and agree to comply with the journal’s Author Guidelines, Peer Review Policy, and Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

 

Author Fees

This journal charges the following author fees.

Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR)
Authors are required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.

If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.
