Journal History
Journal of Islamic Medicine (JIM) was established in 2017 by the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Since its inception, JIM has been published biannually in March and September as a peer-reviewed open-access journal. JIM was accredited as SINTA 5 for the 2017–2021 period, upgraded to SINTA 3 for the 2022–2026 period, and has been indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) since 2026, reflecting its continuous commitment to editorial quality and international visibility.
