Studi fenomenologi penerimaan diri pada mahasiswa profesi kedokteran

Abstract


Clinical education is one of the education that must be achieved by prospective doctors. After completing their undergraduate medical education they must then undergo professional education, all of which are directed to mastery of knowledge and skills to make diagnoses, as well as to make scientific decisions, in their formal education and training in decision-making they must consider ethics so that they can be held accountable. In clinical education carried out by professional students, a situation that forces them to accept themselves with their various weaknesses and strengths is then called self-acceptance. This research method uses a case study qualitative research method using direct observation techniques on the subject, conducting interviews, and also observing the environment where the subject is doing education. The results of this study are physical and psychological changes due to the tight schedule of poly and night watch, experiencing somnolence, namely a position where there is a decrease in consciousness (slow psychomotor response, but able to provide verbal answers), the emergence of a sense of laziness in undergoing education. Has a different efficacy in responding to the existing problem by letting it or its expression according to past experiences experienced. From the results obtained by researchers, it can be concluded that the problems faced by young doctors indirectly accept various circumstances from their advantages and disadvantages, and also have problem solving in accordance with the efficacy of past experience.

ABSTRAK

Pendidikan Profesi merupakan salah satu Pendidikan yang wajib ditempuh oleh calon dokter. Setelah menempuh jenjang Pendidikan sarjana kedokteran mereka kemudian harus menjalani pendidikan profesi, hampir semuanya diarahkan ke penguasaan ilmu dan ketrampilan membuat diagnosis, serta mengambil keputusan ilmiah, dalam pendidikan mereka secara formal dan latihan dalam pengambilan keputusan mereka harus mempertimbangkan etik agar dapat di pertanggung jawabkan. Dalam pendidikan profesi yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa profesi menemui suatu keadaan yang memaksa untuk menerima diri sendiri dengan berbagai kelemahan dan kelebihan yang dimiliki yang kemudian disebut dengan penerimaan diri. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif studi fenomenologi dengan menggunakan Teknik pengamatan langsung pada perilaku subjek, melakukan wawancara, dan juga dengan mengamati lingkungan tempat subjek melakukan pendidikan. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapat yaitu perubahan fisik dan psikologis akibat padatnya jadwal poli dan jaga malam, mengalami somnolen yaitu posisi dimana seseorang mengalami penurunan kesadaran (ambatnya respon psikomotor, akan tetapi mampu memberi jawaban verbal), munculnya rasa malas menjalani pendidikan. Mempunyai efikasi yang berbeda dalam menanggapi masalah yang ada dengan cara membiarkannya atau mengalihkannya sesuai pengalaman masa lalu yang dialaminya. Dari hasil yang didapat oleh peneliti dapat di simpulkan masalah yang dihadapi oleh dokter muda secara tidak langsung menerima tentang berbagai keadaan dari kekurangan dan kelebihannya, juga mempunyai problem solving sesuai dengan efikasi dari pengalaman masa lalu.
