The Journal of Indonesian Psychological Science (JIPS) serves as a platform for the dissemination of original research articles, theoretical articles, empirical studies, case studies, and systematic literature reviews in the field of psychology. It was initially published in December 2021 by Psychology UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang and collaborates with the Asosiasi Psikologi pendidikan Indonesia (APPI). which contributes editorial members, peer reviewers, and authors.

As a peer-reviewed and open-access journal, the Journal of Indonesian Psychological Science focuses on publishing quantitative empirical research and/or qualitative research in psychology and related disciplines. It is indexed on Google Scholar and Portal Garuda. The journal has a biannual publication schedule, releasing issues in June and December. It seeks to publish current research articles that have the potential to make significant contributions to the exploration and development of psychological sciences. Manuscripts submitted to JIPS are expected to demonstrate a well-thought-out study design, appropriate data analysis, and interpretation.

The Journal of Indonesian Psychological Science (JIPS) aims to provide comprehensive support to authors throughout the publication process. It publishes research reports and scientific papers in psychology and/or related sciences. JIPS welcomes manuscripts from both academic and professional applied research, emphasizing the novelty and originality of the studies conducted.
