Zaynul Abedin works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at the University of Dhaka. He takes an active interest in the literatures quintessentially sans frontiers, and does not like to confine himself to the critical engagement of a single national literature. He generally likes working across the genres and critical schools, but strives to focus attention on the particularity of magic realistic, postcolonial and ecocritical points of view in French and Spanish children’s literature in addition to English poetry and fiction. He is a fluent speaker of French and English, and has an intermediate knowledge of Spanish and Arabic languages.
