Cookware Manufacturers fill in gaps

Cookware manufacturers Introduced several new products in the 1997 International Housewares Show. Commercial Aluminum and Meyer introduced new, pricey hard anodized cookware lines. Commercial Aluminum's Calphalon Commercial Non stick will cost $349 to $489 based on the amount of bits purchased. Meyer's Anolon Hard Anodized will sell for $249. New non stick aluminum goods were revealed by Mirro, Regal, T Fal and Meyer.

 T Fal, a leader in the non stick aluminum segment sought to differentiate itself with the introduction of new lineup containing removable handles. The new handle design permits utensils to nest inside each other for effortless storage. The new arrangement also decreases the size of cartons on the retail floor.

 Italian cookware manufacturer TVS Showed an enlarged presence here last week and the company recently signed an agreement with Malina, a U.S. representative firm, to function as the business's exclusive U.S. supplier. The company showed a vast selection of non stick aluminum cookware sporting colours reminiscent of 1960's muscle cars.

 Also Within the colour arena, Le Creuset introduced a fresh red color which has become a Bloomingdale's exclusive as September.
