Journal History

Since its establishment in 2016, Abjadia has been committed to becoming an accredited and internationally recognized scholarly publication in the field of education. Reflecting this vision, it is formally titled Abjadia: International Journal of Education. This objective began to materialize in early 2019 when the journal secured immediate accreditation and attained a Sinta-4 ranking. A year later, in 2020, Abjadia further strengthened its standing by achieving a Sinta-3 ranking. This progress marks a commendable milestone, though some journals have advanced more rapidly to higher rankings. In 2025, Abjadia underwent reaccreditation and successfully maintained its Sinta-3 ranking.

Abjadia: International Journal of Education has collaborated with numerous professional institutions and educational bodies, both within and beyond the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Indonesia, to publish high-quality articles. The journal also engages editors and reviewers from diverse academic and professional backgrounds to ensure the publication of reputable, internationally acclaimed research.

The current Sinta-3 ranking of Abjadia: International Journal of Education will remain valid until 2028 or until the publication of Volume 13, Number 1 in 2028.
