Authors who publish with the Journal of English Language Teaching and Learning (JETLE) agree to the following terms:

1. Authors retain copyright and grant JETLE the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution–ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), which permits others to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material) for any purpose, even commercially, provided the original author and source are properly credited, and any derivative works are distributed under the same license.
2. Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal’s published version of the work (e.g., posting it to an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), with acknowledgment of its initial publication in JETLE.
3. Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their websites) before and during the submission process, as this can lead to productive exchanges and greater citation of published work (See The Effect of Open Access).
