Norhayuza Mohamad is an Associate Professor in Arabic language at the Academy of Language Studies, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). She began her career as a lecturer in UiTM since 1994. She earned a Bachelor Degree of Arabic Language and Literature (1993) from Muhammad al-Khamis University, Rabat, Morocco. She also received her Master of Modern Languages (2000) and a Doctorate in Arabic language teaching (2006) from the University of Malaya. Her research interest includes Arabic language and linguistics, teaching and learning of Arabic as a foreign language, pragmatics, discourse analysis and professional communication.
Anis Nabilah Mamat

Anis Nabilah Mamat graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arabic Language and Communication (Hons) from the Islamic Science University of Malaysia, Negeri Sembilan. In 2023, she received her MA in Applied Language Studies from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam. Her master's research focused on communication, language, politeness, and cross-cultural communication. Currently, she is doing her PhD in Applied Language Studies. Her research is on a comparative analysis of small talk topic between Arab and Malay.

Muhamad Zaidi Zakaria is a lecturer of Arabic language and Pragmatics at the Academy of Language Studies, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam. He began his career as a lecturer in UiTM since 2011. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Lingusitics Studies, Major in Arabic Language (2009) from University Malaya, his master’s degree in Modern Languages Studies also from university Malaya (UM) (2011) and his Doctorate in Arabic Language and Lingusitics (2018) from the University Putra Malaysia. His research interests include Arabic language and linguistic, semantics dan pragmatics.

Bashasunnahar bin Puasa is a lecturer in Arabic language at the Academy of Language Studies, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). He began his career as a lecturer in UiTM since 2017. He earned a bachelor’s degree of Shariah (Islamic Studies & Arabic Language) (2005) from Islamic University of Medina, Medina, Saudi Arabia. He obtained his Master in Applied Languages Studies (2016) and a Doctorate in Applied Languages Studies (2022) from the UiTM. His research interests include Arabic language and linguistics, teaching and learning of Arabic as a foreign language, Arabic language for professional communication and Information technology.
Zuraini Mohd Ramli

Zuraini Mohd Ramli is a senior lecturer in Arabic language at the Academy of Language Studies, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). She began her career as a lecturer at UiTM in 2006. She earned a bachelor of teaching Arabic as a second language (TASL) from the International University of Africa, Khartoum, Sudan (2000). She obtained her also in teaching Arabic as a second language (TASL) (2007) from the University of Malaya.Her research interest is teaching and learning of Arabic as a foreign language, Arabic Language and culture, and Arabic language for professional communication.
